Bailgate Advisory is a Counsel Advisory Consultancy that operates as an intermediary between corporations and their potential outside counsel; vetting and negotiating with law firms in order to offer our clients a true market overview, detailed due diligence, and comprehensive price and process comparison.
Bailgate Advisory was born from conversations with GCs, CFOs and Senior in-house Counsel and an understanding of the growing frustration amongst senior decision makers over their outside counsel’s escalating fees, the lack of transparency they receive regarding process or project management and the perceived lack of variety of service.
Bailgate Advisory aims to change the way that outside counsel interact and communicate with their clients. Simply put, we aim to help you receive the best price, the best deal and the best terms from your outside counsel.
About Our Director - Charles Leffler
My background is as an executive search consultant, specialising in the recruitment of senior investment funds lawyers, as well as supporting practices, for top 100 Am Law firms and top global Asset Managers and Investment Managers. 90% of my business has been recruiting at the Senior/Partner level, negotiating and dealing with heads of practice, COOs, GCs and global directors of recruitment.
After years of working with senior partners as well as GCs, I am excited to be launching Bailgate Advisory, creating a new chapter in the way that companies and their outside counsel interact. More importantly, I am determined to get our clients the best deal possible from their outside counsel.
